Pet-Friendly Brunch in Lisbon

Pet-Friendly Brunch in Lisbon – Nina Welcomes Dogs

Looking for a pet-friendly brunch in Lisbon? Nina welcomes dogs both indoors and on our riverside terrace in Parque das Nações. We just ask that dogs are kept on a leash while inside so everyone can enjoy the space comfortably. Rated 4.9 stars with 760+ Google reviews, Nina is one of the few brunch spots in Lisbon where your dog is genuinely welcome – not just tolerated.

Why Nina Is Lisbon’s Best Pet-Friendly Brunch

Many restaurants in Lisbon allow dogs on the terrace only. Nina goes further: dogs are welcome indoors and on the terrace. We believe brunch is better with your whole crew, four-legged members included.

Our team keeps water bowls available, and the atmosphere is relaxed enough that dogs settle in quickly. You will see regulars bringing their dogs every weekend – it is part of the culture here. Whether you have a small lap dog or a larger breed, there is space for you and your companion to enjoy a proper sit-down brunch.

The only rule: dogs must be kept on a leash while inside. This keeps things comfortable for all guests, including families with small children. On the terrace, dogs have more room to stretch out.

Pet-Friendly Seating Areas

Nina has two main seating areas, and both welcome dogs:

The Terrace

Our riverside terrace overlooks the Tagus and the Parque das Nações promenade. It is spacious, shaded, and the most popular choice for guests with dogs. There is plenty of room between tables, which means larger dogs can lie comfortably beside you without blocking the path. On sunny mornings, this is the best seat in the house – river views, fresh air, and your dog at your feet.

Indoor Seating

On rainy days or cooler mornings, you do not have to leave your dog at home. Our indoor space welcomes dogs on a leash. The seating layout works well for small to medium dogs. If you have a larger breed, the tables near the entrance and along the walls tend to offer the most floor space. Staff can help you find the best spot when you arrive.

Walking Routes with Your Dog

One of the best things about Nina’s location is the walking infrastructure nearby. Parque das Nações was designed as a modern riverside district, so paths are wide, flat, and paved – ideal for dogs of all sizes and energy levels.

Parque das Nações Riverside Promenade

The promenade runs along the Tagus right outside Nina. You can walk north toward the Vasco da Gama Tower or south toward the Oceanário. The path is flat, paved, and dog-friendly – perfect for a pre-brunch or post-brunch stroll. It stretches for several kilometres, so you can go as far as your dog wants.

Parque do Tejo

Just a short walk from Nina, Parque do Tejo is one of the largest riverside parks in Europe. It has open green spaces, shaded paths, and plenty of room for dogs to explore. Many local dog owners come here for off-leash exercise (check current local regulations). It is a fantastic pairing with brunch at Nina – walk the dog, then come eat.

Jardim Garcia de Orta

A smaller garden closer to Oriente Station, Jardim Garcia de Orta is a tropical-style park with lush vegetation and shaded benches. It is a pleasant, quieter stop if your dog prefers calmer environments.

What to Order

While your dog relaxes, you can enjoy Nina’s full brunch menu. Here are some favourites:
