Food is already included at the conference
The organiser includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea or coffee with the event. You can stay on site when your schedule is tight. Nina is an option for a different setting: a meal overlooking the river, a coffee with someone staying nearby, or a free morning outside your conference commitments.
Before leaving FIL, check your next booked meeting and the event’s re-entry arrangements. A short gap between appointments is best kept for the venue; an off-site meal needs time for both walks, service and any security queue.
Arriving before the event
The organiser recommends arriving on Monday 5 October, with badge collection starting at 08:00 on Tuesday 6 October. Monday is a public holiday in Portugal: contact Nina to confirm that day’s hours before building a meal into your arrival plans.
During the three conference days Nina opens at 09:00. If you need the earliest badge collection, a later coffee or lunch break will fit better. Staying in Parque das Nações after the event also leaves room for a relaxed breakfast on Friday.
Choose your meal before you leave FIL
For a savoury brunch, browse the eggs, bagels and toast dishes on our current menu. For a longer lunch, consider the Black Garlic Double Cheeseburger or the vegan Nina’s Garden Glow. Espresso, flat white and filter coffee give you options for a smaller stop.
Use the menu link for current prices and tell the team if you have a fixed return time. Preparation times and tables depend on how busy we are. Nina welcomes walk-ins; arranging to meet a colleague does not reserve a table.

Walking routes from FIL and MEO Arena
Choose your starting point. These links open Google Maps with a walking route from that fixed point to the foot of Nina’s riverside stairs.
Final approach: Google Maps ends at the foot of the stairs. Walk up the broad steps shown in the map below and look for Nina by the open white parasols. This approach includes stairs.

The last part of the walk: find the central stairs
At the small roundabout where Avenida da Boa Esperança meets Rua do Bojador, beside Torre Vasco da Gama, follow the promenade north. Walk up the broad stairs between the buildings and look for Nina beside the open white parasols. The image below shows this final section, not the whole walk from MEO Arena or every FIL exit.
The Google Maps links use fixed starting coordinates and end at the foot of the stairs. Check that your starting point matches the exit you use. If stairs are unsuitable, contact Nina about access before setting off.
