Use your personal agenda to choose a meal break

The festival’s conference and exhibition run on all three days. The organiser’s app carries the agenda and your badge, so check your own appointments before deciding to leave FIL. For a meal at Nina, allow time for a table, preparation, both walks and venue re-entry.

Nina opens at 09:00. A later breakfast or lunch is a practical option when your schedule allows; we cannot assume it will fit before your first session. A coffee stop also needs a realistic gap if you are heading back to a meeting.

Arrival day and departure day can be easier

Arriving on Monday 12 October? Nina’s normal weekday hours are 09:00–16:00, giving you a daytime meal option while you settle into Parque das Nações. It can be easier to enjoy the waterfront then than between appointments on a conference day.

If you plan to visit before a flight, work backwards from your airport arrival time and allow for collecting bags, travel and security. Our airport guide explains the wider journey. We are a café in Parque das Nações, outside the airport and the conference venue.

A meal away from the exhibition floor

The menu includes eggs, bagels and toast for brunch, a burger for a fuller lunch and Nina’s Garden Glow as a vegan option. Choose a speciality coffee or browse the current drinks and pastries. Check the menu before walking over if you have a specific dish in mind.

There is indoor seating and a terrace by the river when the weather allows. Colleagues can meet over a meal, subject to available tables; Nina operates without reservations and is not a bookable conference meeting room.

Walk up the broad stairs between the buildings and look for Nina beside the open white parasols. The image below shows this final section, not the whole walk from MEO Arena or every FIL exit.

The Google Maps links use fixed starting coordinates and end at the foot of the stairs. Check that your starting point matches the exit you use. If stairs are unsuitable, contact Nina about access before setting off.
